Career Teachers are currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher for a welcoming Ofsted-rated "Good" primary school in the DN5 area of Doncaster. This is a full-time, short-term position covering the final half-term of the academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact during a key transition period for Year 6 pupils as they prepare for secondary school.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum
- Prepare pupils for the transition to secondary education
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policy
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and staff
Requirements / Skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
- Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Ability to differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A proactive, flexible, and professional approach
- Passion for supporting pupils' academic and personal development
