A rapidly expanding and innovative company delivering complex trenchless and tunnelling projects across the UK is looking to hire an Assistant Office Manager to strengthen our team and support expanding operations. Based in the head office in Doncaster, this is a key position within the business, supporting the day-to-day running of the office while working across accounts, pre-construction (PQQs), administration, and HR/training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support accounts processes, including invoice tracking, reconciliation, and clearing.
  • Support the Senior Office Manager as required.
  • Prepare and coordinate PQQs.
  • Oversee general office administration and support project teams.
  • Assist with HR processes, onboarding, and training coordination.
  • Maintain compliance records, certifications, and reporting.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to company directors, including reporting, documentation, and business support tasks.

Office Manager Specification:

  • Experience in administration, accounts, or office coordination.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confident communicator with attention to detail.
  • Experience in construction or engineering environment (advantageous).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
