This is an exciting opportunity to join Locala's Children's Immunisation Team, the lead provider for the West Yorkshire Vacs & Imms Collaboration (WYVIC). We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Band 5 Children's Immunisation Nurse to support the delivery of high-quality childhood immunisation services across Kirklees. This role is ideal for a confident and motivated practitioner who is passionate about improving immunisation uptake and contributing to service development, while consistently maintaining excellent clinical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the immunisation team to increase local uptake by providing and supporting services to the eligible population
  • Deliver safe, effective childhood immunisations in line with the National Childhood Immunisation Schedule (0-18 years) within clinic and school settings
  • Work collaboratively with the wider WYVIC Team
  • Promote immunisation uptake and provide evidence-based advice to children, young people, and families
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in line with policy and governance requirements
  • Contribute positively to service development and continuous improvement
  • Be able to travel to a range of vaccination sites across Kirklees, essential for this role
