We are looking for a commercial vehicle fleet management professional to join our DAF Fleet Services team as a Supplier Operations Controller in Devizes.
Key Benefits
- Base salary £30,750 – £34,500 (industry experience)
- Quarterly bonus up to £1,500, with potential to earn an additional £6,000 annually
- DAF Fleet Maintenance and development opportunities, in‑house and manufacturer courses, plus Ford & Slater training
- 22 days holiday (statutory), rising to 25 days after 5 years

Qualifications & Experience
- Vehicle repair / fleet management experience in the commercial vehicle sector (advantage).
- Technical automotive / commercial vehicle experience – Service Advisor, Parts Advisor or Technician.
- Understanding of reducing Vehicle Off Road (VOR) time.
- Outstanding customer service track record.
- Can‑do attitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication.
- High IT literacy – comfortable on the phone and using email.
- Organised, resilient, able to work on own initiative.
Responsibilities
- Day‑to‑day responsibility for vehicle uptime, managing VOR progress, escalation and support through third‑party partners and suppliers.
- Mitigate downtime, proactively reduce VOR with a robust process of liaison, support and working with other providers through our portfolio of support.
- Explore external options to reduce parts lead times or workshop delays.
- Communicate with vehicle manufacturers over specification or part issues.
- Ensure cost control is adhered to at all times.
Working Hours
Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
