Baresca Tapas is an independent, family-run restaurant & bar group built on genuine hospitality, great tapas, and even better people. We're excited to be bringing the spirit of Barcelona to Mere Green and are looking for a warm, engaging, and hands-on Deputy General Manager to support the launch and day-to-day running of our new Baresca. This is a key leadership role within the business, ideal for a natural people person who thrives in a busy hospitality environment and leads with positivity, ownership, kindness, and teamwork.
You will work closely with the General Manager to build a strong and happy team culture, deliver heartfelt hospitality, and help establish Baresca as a well-loved local restaurant & bar from day one.

The Role:
- Support the general manager in the opening and day-to-day running of the restaurant & bar
- Lead from the floor during service, ensuring a warm, efficient, and high-quality guest experience
- Support the General Manager in recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing team
- Maintain consistently high standards of service, presentation, cleanliness, and atmosphere
- Take responsibility for smooth daily operations in the General Manager's absence
- Support opening and closing procedures and ensure all operational standards are met
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing events, private bookings, and group reservations

- Proven leadership experience in hospitality, ideally in a busy restaurant & bar environment
- A natural host who connects easily with guests
