MorePeople is partnering with a premier food wholesaler, in the search for their next Procurement Administrator. This role will support the procurement function through accurate data management and administrative support. This role is key to ensuring system pricing, supplier records, and transactional documentation are maintained to a high standard, enabling the smooth and efficient running of procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keep product pricing and system data accurate and up to date
  • Match supplier invoices with delivery notes and purchase orders
  • Look into any discrepancies and raise them where needed
  • Maintain supplier records, contracts, and general documentation
  • Raise and process purchase orders as required
  • Support with general admin tasks across the procurement team

Supplier & Logistics Coordination

  • Communicate with UK suppliers on order confirmations, lead times, and any shortages
  • Track inbound deliveries and update internal systems (UK and international)
  • Help coordinate transport bookings and share delivery or loading requirements

Stock & Data Management

  • Support stock reconciliation and investigate any variances
  • Keep trackers, spreadsheets, and internal reports up to date
  • Make sure all data across systems is accurate and consistent

Food Safety & Compliance Support

  • Collect product specs, allergen info, and labelling details
  • Ensure supplier certifications and documents are up to date

General Support

  • Provide day-to-day admin and reporting support
  • Work closely with Operations, Technical, Finance, and Sales teams

Personal Attributes
