Be part of the family. We're a family business through and through - family owned since 1868, family run and with a warm family welcome for guests and team alike. Our seven hotels are unique and set in three stunning Scottish locations. In the heart of Scotland, we're set in a 900 acre estate in stunning Perthshire. A home from home, we've been welcoming generations of families for 150 years. We have 215 hotel bedrooms, 55 self‑catering lodges, 6 restaurants and over 60 onsite activities – including a spa, leisure centre, horse riding centre and our famously exciting Action Glen. There really is something for everyone!

About the role: Our restaurants offer a variety of foods. Working with local suppliers, we're committed to consistency of production using locally sourced products. If you're excited about driving change, have a flair for all things food, and want to be part of a great team looking to make your mark, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for. We're recruiting multiple team members to join us in either our Terrace or Meikle restaurants. These are full‑time roles (45 hours per week) and live‑in accommodation is available on site, with all bills included.

The Terrace Restaurant is open for dinner and occasional daytime events, serving up all the classic favourites you'd expect in a relaxed, family‑friendly setting – from wood‑fired pizzas to juicy steaks. The Meikle Restaurant offers a varied experience throughout the day, including buffet breakfasts for over 600 guests, brunch, afternoon tea, and dinner featuring our East menu – a vibrant selection of South‑East Asian inspired small plates.

What we need from you: As Chef de Partie, you'll motivate the commis chefs to prepare food for our restaurants. You'll have an eye for quality, consistency and for portion control. You'll build good relationships with the front‑of‑house team to make sure our guests get exactly what they want, quickly. With an input into our daily special’s menu, you'll also give our Head Chef your ideas for changing our a la carte menu. A qualification in professional cookery would be great, and relevant industry experience is essential.

What you'll get from us:

  • Up to £31,500 per annum plus a share of tips (estimated £3,000 per annum).
  • Live‑in accommodation – On‑site housing may be available, with bills included, making your move stress‑free. Most of our accommodation is single occupancy with an ensuite bathroom, but this isn't a guarantee.
  • A friendly & supportive team – Work in a fun, welcoming environment where team spirit and well‑being are a priority.
  • Grow with us – We invest in our people. Whether you're looking to develop new skills or take the next step in your career, we'll support you every step of the way.
  • Career progression – With multiple hotels, departments, and roles, you'll have plenty of opportunities to grow and explore new career paths.
  • Leadership development – Get access to our Be A Leader programme and develop the skills to take your career further.
  • Exclusive discounts – Enjoy discounted leisure membership, 30% off retail, 30% of food and drinks, plus great savings on hotel activities.
  • Team‑rate hotel stays – Take time to recharge with discount stays at all of our hotels from just £30 per night.
  • Refer a friend initiative – earn a bonus up to £250‑£500 for each successful team member or manager which you recommend to us.
  • Guest mention incentive – earn an extra £5 for each guest review which positively mentions you.
  • Well‑being support – Access 24/7 confidential support via the Health Assured employee assistance programme, covering mental health, financial advice, and more.
  • Team events & annual staff party – We love to celebrate our people! Enjoy team events throughout the year and a legendary annual staff party.
