We're looking for a dynamic and motivated First Line Manager to join our team in Crick. You'll lead a team of Warehouse Operatives and Administrators, driving performance and efficiency across manual and automated operations.

This is a full-time permanent position. You'll be working on the shift pattern of 'any 5 from 7' with the hours of 23:00 till 07:00.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £31,700 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Lead and inspire your team to meet and exceed KPIs
  • Manage automated systems including AGV Fleet, Auto-labeller Dispenser, and Pocket Sorter
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and maintain a clean, safe working environment
  • Drive continuous improvement through SOPs and lean methodologies
  • Monitor budgets, headcount, and performance metrics
  • Promote a positive, inclusive team culture and support colleague development

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Experience of working in a complex, fast-moving logistics/warehouse environment, ideally within eCommerce
  • Strong understanding of WMS, WCS, RCS, and automation technologies
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
