Our client is looking to recruit a Court of Protection Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join their well‑established specialist team in Plymouth. This role would suit somebody with experience in Court of Protection work or a solicitor/legal executive from a private client or litigation background looking to move into this rewarding and increasingly specialist area of law. This is far more than a traditional private client role. The successful candidate will work closely with vulnerable clients, families, support networks and professional deputies, helping to make a genuine difference to people's lives every single day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Property and financial affairs deputyships
  • Supporting vulnerable clients with long term financial management
  • Liaising with the Court of Protection and Office of the Public Guardian
  • Managing professional deputy files
  • Working alongside case managers, families and healthcare professionals

  • Be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
