Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a GOC-registered Optometrist to join a leading private provider of laser eye, premium intraocular lens and cataract surgery services at their modern surgical centre in Norwich. This opportunity has become available due to continued growth across the organisation and its sister company, ACES.

Working within a state-of-the-art clinical environment, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team alongside experienced ophthalmologists and eye care professionals, delivering outstanding patient care and achieving exceptional clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre- and post-operative consultations for refractive and cataract surgery patients
  • Provide clinical support to ophthalmologists within the surgery centre
  • Deliver Essential and Advanced Eye Examinations
  • Maintain accurate, detailed, and compliant patient records
  • Ensure high standards of clinical governance and patient safety
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in patient care and service delivery

Team Development

  • Work collaboratively within a supportive multi-disciplinary team
  • Participate in structured refractive and cataract surgery training delivered by experienced clinicians
  • Access ongoing CET-accredited professional development opportunities
  • Receive day-to-day support from an experienced Clinical Services team

About You

  • GOC-registered Optometrist
  • Minimum of 2 years' post-registration experience
  • Strong clinical and decision-making skills
