Main duties of the job:

  • Support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being.
  • Maintain a safe living and working environment, contributing to a positive and professional image of the home.
  • Report any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the Wellbeing and Activity Coordinator, Home Manager, and the care staff.
  • Support the ordering and preparation of supplies for upcoming activities as directed.
  • Establish and maintain links with the local community (e.g., schools, spiritual groups, museums, libraries) to encourage wider access and promote intergenerational activity.

  • ADBS Disclosure check (cost covered by employer).
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
  • This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and requires submission of a Disclosure to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
