Are you enthusiastic, dedicated, and vigilant? If so, this role may be for you! We have an exciting opportunity for a Control Room Operator / Resource Planner to join our team in our Coventry office. The purpose of the role is to provide efficient and professional Control Room Duties and Resource Planning to Samsic UK Security’s clients, demonstrating the highest levels of Customer Service. The role is vital in ensuring each site has fully trained staff available to complete contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work 42.5 hours per week on a shift pattern alternating weekly between Monday‑Friday 06:00‑14:30 and 12:30‑21:00.
  • Maintain records including holiday, sickness, and hours of attendance at work.
  • Manage last‑minute sickness and planned absence.
  • Manage Bradford Factor.
  • Approve annual leave.
  • Manage regional rotas and support cover.
  • Dispatch alarms to Response Teams.
  • Prepare and process payroll.
  • Conduct staff welfare calls.
  • Liaise with clients.
  • Update spreadsheets, run reports and update databases.
  • Send out KPI reports daily, weekly and monthly.
  • Work closely with the Service Delivery Manager and Operations Manager.

Qualifications & Criteria

  • Unrestricted right to work in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Five‑year checkable work history.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work under own initiative.
  • Good organisational skills.
