QED Legal is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded regional law firm seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor or qualified CILEX Lawyer to join its growing specialist property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment, working closely with experienced senior lawyers on a broad range of quality commercial property matters.

You will join a busy and well-respected commercial property team acting for a varied client base across the hospitality, leisure, and wider commercial sectors. You will gain exposure to high-quality transactional and advisory work, benefiting from early responsibility, direct client contact, and ongoing support from experienced colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with acquisitions and disposals of commercial property
  • Advising on landlord and tenant matters
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial leases and associated documentation
  • Supporting portfolio management transactions
  • Assisting with secured lending and property finance work
  • Providing general commercial property support across a varied client base
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional contacts
Qualifications
  • Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with approximately 1-3 years' PQE
  • Strong grounding in commercial property matters
  • Excellent drafting, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively and work accurately under pressure
  • Commercially aware with a proactive and collaborative approach
  • Strong client care skills and attention to detail
