Eventus Legal are currently recruiting for a Commercial Property Solicitor to join a progressive and expanding law firm in Kidderminster on a full time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Property Solicitor with 2-5 years' PQE looking to take the next step within a collaborative and forward thinking property team. About the Role

As a Commercial Property Solicitor, you will become part of a busy property department acting for a varied client base including investors, developers, landlords and business owners. The successful Commercial Property Solicitor will enjoy a diverse caseload covering transactional property work, development projects and landlord and tenant matters, with the opportunity to build long term client relationships and further develop technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of commercial property transactions from instruction through to completion
  • Advising clients on acquisitions and disposals of commercial premises and investment properties
  • Supporting development projects including land acquisitions and related transactional matters
  • Negotiating and drafting a range of commercial property documentation including leases and licences
  • Acting for both landlords and tenants on non contentious property matters
  • Handling property finance transactions and assisting clients with secured lending matters
  • Reviewing title documentation and carrying out due diligence investigations
  • Providing practical and commercially focused legal advice to a broad client base
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, agents and third parties
  • Contributing to the continued growth and success of the commercial property department

About You

You will be a qualified solicitor with experience handling a broad range of commercial property matters and a genuine interest in developing your career within a successful and supportive legal practice. This Commercial Property Solicitor role would suit someone commercially aware, client focused and motivated to progress within a collaborative team environment. You should also be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with between 2 and 5 years' PQE in commercial property law
  • Experience handling acquisitions, disposals, leases and landlord and tenant matters
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and a varied workload effectively
  • Commercial awareness with a proactive and solutions focused mindset
  • Confident use of case management systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong drafting and technical legal skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship building abilities
  • Professional approach with strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Collaborative attitude and willingness to support colleagues across the wider team
