Responsibilities:
- Provide focused support relating to membership, terms of affiliation, safeguarding, ED&I, disciplinary and anti-doping matters, and governance to golf clubs in the region.
- Support county strategic plans, report progress to the regional manager, unions, associations, unified bodies and golf development groups.
- Work collaboratively with paid staff and volunteers, influence and present to a wide range of audiences.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Knowledge of golf essential (general and administrative structure).
- Sports governance and sport knowledge.
- Sports related diploma and sports development experience desired.
- Prior experience in a golf club environment or programme delivery desirable.
- Good communication, presentation and collaboration skills.
- Ability to influence and communicate to a wide range of audiences.
Must live within Yorkshire county; travel to meetings and events; valid driving licence and car ownership or transport access essential.
Working Conditions:
- Full time (Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm core hours).
- May be required to work weekends and evenings.
- Home based but travel to meetings; office at Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire.
- Valid driving licence, car or transport essential.
