Leggwork is partnering with a growing Geospatial Surveying specialist delivering survey solutions across major infrastructure, construction and development projects throughout the North-West of England. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Topographical Surveyor to support the delivery of high-accuracy surveys across commercial, highways, utilities and civil engineering schemes. This is an excellent opportunity to join a technically focused business offering long-term progression, modern surveying technology and exposure to some of the UK's most significant projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out Topographical Surveys across a variety of infrastructure and construction projects
  • Operate Total Stations, GNSS and associated survey equipment
  • Capture accurate survey data in line with client specifications
  • Produce detailed survey information for processing and drafting teams
  • Identify site constraints and report findings accurately
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to agreed timescales
  • Maintain equipment and survey records to a high standard

Requirements

  • Previous experience carrying out Topographical Surveys
  • Proficient with Total Stations and GPS/GNSS equipment
  • Strong understanding of survey control and data collection techniques
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

  • QCF, ProQual, HNC or equivalent Surveying qualification
  • Experience within Civil Engineering, Highways or Utilities sectors
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD survey workflows
