Ashlynn Grange is an exceptional 153-bed care home in Peterborough. The home prides itself on the surrounding gardens that grow flowers and a variety of different vegetables. The level of care at Ashlynn Grange is exceptional, and all staff love to keep residents entertained with a full programme of activities and live performances on our outdoor stage. Our newly refurbished café is available to our residents and their visitors, serving a variety of fresh tea, coffee and cakes daily.
About the role
The Clinical Care Lead will lead the clinical team on providing strong clinical knowledge, leadership and management to ensure the highest standards are achieved in all areas of the home including relationship centred care, clinical care and dementia care.
Salary: £24.88 per hour
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, shifts worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.
Home Location: Bretton Gate, Peterborough, PE3 9UZ.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for clinical care in the home.
- Lead care delivery in the home, to ensure continuous assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of residents' care.
- Lead, coach, support and inspire the clinical team to deliver outcomes for the home.
- Ensure that an outstanding level of relationship centred care, dementia care and clinical care is being delivered within the home.
Training, Skills & Experience Required
- Qualified RN/RGN/RMN.
- Minimum of two years' shift leadership and management experience.
- Has extensive experience working with those living with dementia, and a dementia qualification is highly advantageous.
- Proven track record leading, empowering, supporting and motivating a clinical team.
