Set along the North Norfolk coast, surrounded by open skies and salt marshes, Titchwell Manor is a place where guests come to slow down, settle in, and feel genuinely looked after. A hotel, bar, terrace and restaurant with a strong food identity and relaxed confidence, it blends premium standards with warmth and personality. This is not a formal country house. Nor is it simply a restaurant with rooms. Titchwell is a home from home for guests who value exceptional food, thoughtful wine, and intuitive service - delivered without fuss, but with care and precision. It is also a place where people gather – for weddings, milestone celebrations, private dinners and special events – moments that deserve both seamless organisation and heartfelt hospitality.

We are looking for a General Manager who understands that balance. Someone who can set high standards while keeping the atmosphere welcoming. A natural host. A visible leader. Someone who takes pride in both the polish and the personality of a place. With food and drink at the heart of the experience, this role requires real passion for hospitality - from a well curated wine list to the rhythm of service, from the ambience of a dining room to the orchestration of a wedding day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire FOH and BOH teams
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to maintain a destination food and beverage offering
  • Champion a premium yet relaxed guest experience across dining, rooms, bar and private events.
  • Oversee weddings, gatherings and special occasions with professionalism and care
  • Set and maintain service standards that feel intuitive, not scripted
  • Oversee commercial performance, room revenue, stock management and cost control.
  • Build, develop and retain a high performing team culture
  • Act as host and figurehead – present, engaged and proud
