Shifts: Days

Rates: £16.21 per hour (Not including holiday pay), £18.16 per hour (Including holiday pay)

Estimated weekly pay based on 45 hours: £817.20

Expected annual earnings: £42,494 inclusive of holiday pay

Duties:

  • Carry out multi-drop deliveries to retail, hospitality, and business customers
  • Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle in line with road and safety regulations
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects
  • Load and unload goods, often involving manual handling
  • Ensure all deliveries are accurate and supported by correct paperwork
  • Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
  • Follow planned routes and delivery schedules
  • Adhere to all driving laws, working time directives, and tachograph regulations

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

  • Physically fit due to manual handling requirements
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
