My client is recruiting two graduate design engineers, one for each of their shoring & below‑ground propping design team and the above‑ground team based in their Manchester office.
Overview
This role is suited to a civil structural engineer with an interest in civil, structural and geo‑technical engineering, including pile design, SI interpretation and deep excavation support. You should hold a degree or masters in civil engineering or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Design temporary works and piling for major projects across the UK, including propping for deep basements.
- Integrate geotechnics with structural analysis to produce bespoke steelwork designs and connections.
- Participate in the industry‑leading chartership training scheme, progressing towards chartered status.
Qualifications
- Degree or masters in civil engineering or related discipline.
- Some experience in the engineering industry after university is desirable; exceptional recent graduates will also be considered.
- Interest in piles, SI interpretation, deep excavation and structural analysis.
