The Telegraph is seeking a Partnerships Project Manager (FTC - 12 months) to play a crucial role in managing and delivering commercial partnership campaigns. This fixed-term role involves working closely with sales, production, and editorial teams to ensure that campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations. The Partnerships Project Manager will manage a diverse portfolio of partnership campaigns, focusing on scheduling, administration, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial partnership campaigns for strategic clients and agencies.
  • Work closely with the Sales team, All Production teams, and Commercial Editors to ensure successful delivery of allocated partnerships through proficient planning, scheduling and reporting.
  • Champion Workfront for campaign management and delivery, ensuring smooth project delivery through clear timeline management and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Drive campaign effectiveness (Results That Matter) for clients and ensure efficient production within agreed profit margins.
  • Produce a pre-pitch P&L for each partnership, ensuring accurate cost allocation and adherence to agreed profit margins and reconcile the P&L after the campaign has ended.
  • Manage partnerships across Travel, Lifestyle, Business & Finance, and Sport topics as allocated.
  • Maintain centralized, accurate, and up-to-date schedules and trackers for all managed partnership activity, ensuring departmental accessibility.
  • Provide best-in-class customer service, adhering to TMG guidelines to ensure seamless campaign delivery and achievement of KPIs.
  • Have a clear comprehensive understanding of all Telegraph products (Telegraph.co.uk, newspaper, magazines, apps, and database).
  • Set the standards to support the renewal of campaigns to secure future investment.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in project management within a commercial partnerships or advertising environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Client-focused approach with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Understanding of digital advertising metrics, buying methods, and profit margin management.
  • Ability to work proactively and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Experience with project management software, preferably Workfront.
  • Attention to detail and numerical literacy to manage budgets and optimize profitability.
  • Multi-media knowledge including sales, operations, and campaign delivery processes.
