Job responsibilities
- Assisting catering staff with the preparation and cooking of meals in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Serving food and beverages to service users, staff and visitors.
- Maintaining storage procedures and stock rotation.
- Ensuring all areas, equipment and furniture are cleaned and stored correctly.
- As part of the catering team, ensuring kitchen and associated areas meet operational hygiene standards and comply with policies.
- Liaising with the wider team, including dietitians, regarding dietary and planned meals.
Requirements
- Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
