About the employer: Our client is a female who is registered blind living in the Chester area with family who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide a range of personal and domestic assistance and to act as an escort for day-to-day appointments and recreational activities, which may include driving and escorting the employer.
Main duties:
- Social duties: Keep in touch and socialise with family and friends; attend medical appointments as required; provide support with accessing recreational activities.
- Personal care: Assist with personal care as instructed by the employer in a sensitive and dignified manner.
- Medication: If required, under the employer's direction supervise and/or assist in the administration of prescribed medication.
- Domestic duties: Maintain the domestic environment to the required standard, ensuring that regard is given to safety and hygiene.
- Meal preparation: If required assist in the preparation of meals.

Hours of work: 36 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 07:30am - 14:30pm including Sunday (9:00am-17:00pm) working on a rota basis.
Rate of pay: £13.30 per hour.
Skills, qualifications, and experience:
- Essential: Full UK Driving Licence; Car and appropriate business insurance. Previous care & support experience. Undergo relevant training for professional development. Confidentiality. Good at building relationships. Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References.
