The role of Field Technician - Engineer is to carry out all field-based activities associated with building and testing new solutions and the decommissioning and deinstallation for our customers both at customer premises as well as on Vodafone's core network sites. The role will also get involved in repair activity, which involves troubleshooting and replacing equipment at customer premises or within the core network. Representing our brand and delivering an excellent level of service for our business customers is also a key component of this role. The Field Engineering role is a physical one, with the need for manual lifting, climbing stairs, walking and being on your feet for large parts of the day, working in both inside and outside environments. Internal and external rooftop based working including the use of ladders up to 3 metres is essential and the role holder will be expected to undertake regular health assessments to ensure that all physical aspects of the role may be carried out safely.
