The Venue Manager will lead the hospitality operation at College Farm, driving day to day service, building the team, developing the event calendar, managing commercial performance, and shaping the venue's next phase.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day to day venue operation, overseeing service standards, team performance and visitor experience.
  • Build and develop the venue team across hospitality, bar, events and seasonal support, creating a scalable structure.
  • Drive events and programming, building a venue calendar with regular hospitality moments, private hire, corporate events and seasonal activities.
  • Own commercial performance, monitoring revenue, labour, margins and operational decisions.
  • Manage the growing multi part operation including hospitality, retail, food vendors and events, ensuring operational harmony.
  • Help shape the next phase of the site, collaborating with the wider team on operational set up and growth.

Qualifications

  • Strong hospitality leadership experience, ideally as a Venue Manager or General Manager.
  • Experience in complex venue environments such as destination venues, events led hospitality, brewery or taproom.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to grow revenue, manage costs, and run a venue.
  • Experience in events and experience mindset to drive footfall, repeat visits and commercial performance.
  • Hands on, calm, practical problem solving ability with working in a rural evolving site.
