Location: Manchester and surrounding areas

Pay: £15-£20 per hour (role & experience dependent)

Job type: Flexible

We are recruiting for experienced chefs to work at the city’s leading football stadiums, on match days throughout the season. The site has a variety of kitchens from fine dining banqueting to buffets for over 500 people. You will work as part of a brigade of chefs to achieve a successful service for your lead chef, handling a section and helping out where needed. Experience in large-scale banqueting is preferable, but candidates with a minimum of 2 years chef experience in fast-paced environments, who are hard working, skilled, and have positive attitudes, are welcome. You also have the choice of working with us at other venues/events and the freedom to choose your shifts. This is a great opportunity to develop your career and work alongside industry leaders across the venues/events we work with.

Requirements

  • Valid Food Safety Level 2 & Food Allergens certificates (we can provide if needed)
  • NVQ Level 1, 2, 3 Professional Cookery (or equivalent) OR relevant experience in the role
  • Team player
  • Enthusiasm and eagerness to work hard
  • Eligible to work in the UK

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Cook to specification and opportunity for menu creation
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness to the highest standard
  • Deliver products that meet standards and innovate
  • Liaise with Front of House Staff and Management
  • Stock control, waste management and finance management
  • Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and maintenance
  • Adhere to Health and Safety at Work, COSHH and other legislation at all times
