We have an exciting opportunity for an Undergraduate Administrator to join the team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. The Medical Education Department is responsible for developing, managing and delivering a range of high quality and cost effective medical educational services within the Trust to specifications required by the General Medical Council, NHS England Workforce, Training & Education, Kent Surrey & Sussex, associated Medical Schools and the Trust's strategic and operational framework. The successful applicant will work within the Undergraduate Team within the Medical Education Department.
Main duties of the job:
- The Undergraduate Education Administrator will work as a member of the Medical Education Team and act as a team member utilising the time available to everyone's advantage.
- The post holder will have a number of key duties and responsibilities.
- The Undergraduate Medical Education Administrator will work primarily as part of the Undergraduate Medical Education Team to support the Undergraduate programme within the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.
- This involves students on placement from King's College London, City St George's University London and the Kent and Medway Medical schools.
- The role also encompasses the coordination for work experience placements in the Trust for pupils interested in undertaking a career in medicine.
This position is for a 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday. This post is primarily based at Tunbridge Wells, with a regular weekly requirement to work at the Maidstone site.

Qualifications:
- Good standard of general education to minimum of GCSE standard or equivalent to include Maths and English.
- NVQ level 3 in Business Administration/ Customer Care or equivalent.
Experience and Knowledge:
- Advanced IT skills including proven abilities in using Microsoft Office Applications.
- Experience of using spreadsheets, inputting data with accuracy.
- Experience of working to deadlines.
- Experience in managing admin tasks (e.g. emails, phone calls, organising meetings, maintaining records).
- Experience in an administration / office environment.
- Basic working knowledge of audio visual (AV) equipment.
Skills:
- Communication Skills: Proficiency in written and verbal communication for interacting with colleagues and external parties.
- Time management: Ability to organise, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and multitask effectively.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the overall success of the team.
