Start your rewarding career in healthcare. Our friendly Estates and Facilities Team at the Trevor Gibbens Unit in Maidstone are seeking a full-time Cleaner. We are looking for a Cleaner who has the determination and valuable skills required to ensure our hygiene standards are met in line with New NHS Cleaning Guidelines.
1 post available for 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7am - 2.50pm (includes 20 minute lunch break).
Job responsibilities:
- Complete the daily shift plan in the agreed time scale, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met in line with new NHS Cleaning Guidelines.
- Complete weekly departmental performance monitoring to achieve and maintain the Trust's own standards.
- Maintain a patient-focused service across clinical areas.
- Undertake general cleaning and other related domestic tasks to a high standard within a designated area and manage own task schedules.
- Maintain a high standard of provision of other Facilities related tasks.
- Work as part of the Facilities Team in conjunction with ward managers on all aspects of ward cleaning and hygiene.
- Ensure waste is disposed of in accordance with the Trust waste disposal policy, assuring Health and Safety standards are adhered to.
- Removal of rubbish to designated collection points.
