PAY RATE £15.06 per hour
HOURS 42 hrs per week 4 on 4 off 12hrs shifts Nights
THE ROLE
As a CCTV Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of customers, buildings and personnel. You will be responsible for protecting the security and safety of the identified building and personnel on site, including customers, staff and occupants. The CCTV operator will ensure that the assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner and meet relevant legislation and compliance. You should always be vigilant and professional when dealing with contractors, customers and being front of house.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing the CCTV and emergency systems on site
- Assisting the ground team with camera support and reviewing of footage
- Dealing with incidents, customer service, contractors, staff and customer security checks
- Carrying out duties in accordance with the assignment instructions
- Being aware of the obligations under the Health and Safety regulations concerning their own safety, that of their colleagues and tenants and deter unauthorised personnel from gaining access to the Centre
- Operation of centre CCTV system - proactive patrolling on camera
- Operation of the centre life safety systems, radio system, Access Control system
- Permit follow up, Key and asset tracking/management
- Responding to incidents and assigning staff across all centre departments
- Responding to customer and client enquiries via phone, email
- Assisting with any reasonable request made by the client/management, Access control system/Permit System/Building management system
- Updating Blueprint DOB for all incidents and daily completed tasks
SKILLS
- You must be capable of dealing with a variety of situations and be very customer service focused
- You must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, attaining a good standard of verbal and written English
- You must have good organisational and record-keeping skills, be always well-presented
- You must be physically fit as this is a demanding role
- Previous experience in a customer service focused/security role is vital
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
- You must have a valid CCTV and Door Supervisor Licence
- Possession of a First Aid at work certificate is desirable
