The Role
- Responsibilities include:
- Oversee College Football Academy team matches on Wednesdays, 12:00-17:00 and training sessions on Monday and Friday, 8:30-10:30.
- Arrange and confirm fixtures.
- Book transport and referees for teams (up to 1 hour of administration time given).
- Conduct departmental administration, e.g., respond to phone calls, emails.
- Publicise events at St Augustine's and Factory Lane to staff and students.
Successful Candidate
Cardinal Newman College is a welcoming environment for an enthusiastic and experienced candidate. The ideal candidate holds a Football Coaching Certificate (Level 2 or higher), has passion for sport evidenced by performance, experience or higher study, and possesses good communication skills. They should demonstrate values, attitudes, and behaviours aligned with the Catholic Ethos of the College and commit to equality, diversity and safeguarding of young people and vulnerable adults.
Terms and Conditions
- Hours: 10 hours per week, from early September to early May. Team matches on Wednesdays, 12:00 and training sessions on Mondays and Fridays, 8:30, plus up to one hour for admin per week.
- Salary: £22 per hour plus holiday pay. Salary is paid on a claim basis for the hours worked.
