The D J Laing Group is a civil engineering contractor and quality housebuilder based in Carnoustie. Due to planned expansion, we have a vacancy in our Head Office for a Personal Assistant. This is a responsible, diverse role which would ideally suit an individual with previous admin/office experience who can work to a high standard with great attention to detail.

Duties:

  • Supporting the Directors and assisting with the administrative activities and operations that facilitate the smooth running of the business.
  • Dealing with communications, procurement and leases.

Skills:

  • Well organised
  • Produce a high standard of work
  • Possess good numeracy skills
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Possess good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage priorities
  • Use your initiative

A knowledge of property, marketing or building products would also be an advantage but not essential.
