Blue Arrow is recruiting on behalf of a prestigious hospitality client for an experienced Bar Supervisor to join their Food & Beverage team. This role will be based across an established restaurant and an exciting new bar opening soon in Carnoustie town centre. This is a permanent, full-time position, working 40 hours per week on a rota basis, Monday to Sunday. Evening and weekend work will be required.
The Role
As Bar Supervisor, you will support the Food & Beverage Management Team in the smooth day-to-day operation of both venues. You will lead the front-of-house team, ensure excellent service standards are maintained, and help create a vibrant and welcoming experience for all guests. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example and working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily bar and front-of-house operations across both sites
- Lead, motivate and support the team, including rotas and on-shift duties
- Deliver excellent customer service and handle guest feedback professionally
- Manage stock ordering, tills and cash handling procedures
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety and service
- Support training and development of team members
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, ensuring security standards are met
