Join Our Team of Fuel Delivery Experts at Allan Stobarts Lubricants & Fuels. We are looking for a motivated and organised Transport Coordinator to join our Operations team. This is a permanent, full-time role offering an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive, fast-paced environment as part of a growing, employee-owned business.
The Role: What to Expect
As a Transport Coordinator, you will be central to the planning and routing of daily tanker deliveries, including domestic heating oil, agricultural fuel, and commercial fuel across a wide range of customer locations. You will coordinate driver workloads, manage delivery schedules, and ensure all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high customer service standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily routing and scheduling of tankers using Codas Loadmap
- Maximise vehicle utilisation while maintaining a minimum 95% on-time delivery performance
- Liaise with drivers and customers to manage deliveries, delays, and changes
- Ensure compliance with driver hours regulations and transport policies
- Manage live operational changes and communicate issues effectively
- Conduct end of day driver debriefs and update delivery systems
- Support transport KPIs including mileage, capacity usage, and overtime
- Assist with rota planning, holidays, training, and vehicle maintenance
- Provide out of hours and Saturday morning transport support as part of a rota
- Support general transport administration and provide daily capacity updates
About You

Previous experience in a transport planning or routing role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
