Salary: £40,000
Our services are placements for adults with Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Autism.
Overview of responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, management, and clear direction in delivery of all services within your defined area(s) of responsibility.
- Work alongside the Heads of departments within the organisation, supporting with the strategic overview and direction of the services.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining the organisational overall aims and objectives/targets.
- Evaluate the outcomes of the people supported and make amendments as required, alongside the Area Manager and PBS Lead.
- Lead, direct and support Team Leaders and Support Workers and other colleagues to provide and maintain the highest quality service.
- Be accountable for all contractual regulations to ensure that all compliance is fully met, and robust quality assurance measures are monitored across the service.
- Be based within the services the majority of the week ensuring compliance and oversight is at the forefront.
- Work closely with local authority on referrals and ongoing client engagement.
Service Manager must have:
- QCF Level 5 Leadership and Management/Registered Managers Award/NVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care (Preferred) or willing to work towards.
- Prior experience as a manager within health and social care is required.
- Strong staff management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations, health and social care legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Enthusiasm, passion and determination to achieve Outstanding and deliver the highest quality person centred care.
