Hours: Monday to Friday working 40 hours each week (08:30am - 17:00)

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum dependant on experience

The Role

We are looking for a Payroll & Holiday Administrator to join our busy and supportive Payroll team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a complex and varied payroll environment, supporting a large, operational workforce with multiple pay structures. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while developing your knowledge across a wide range of payroll activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with data, and developing their payroll expertise in a fast paced setting. You will support the day-to-day running of payroll operations, including:

  • Calculation of driver weekly pay across 20+ pay agreements
  • Processing weekly & monthly payrolls
  • Spreadsheet work
  • Daily, weekly and monthly reporting

About You

  • Previous payroll experience is desirable but not essential - we are happy to consider candidates with transferable skills, as full training will be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A discreet, professional, and proactive approach.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exposure to a complex payroll environment - ideal for building valuable, in-demand payroll skills.

28 days' paid holiday including Bank Holidays, increasing by 1 day at 5 years' service up to a maximum of 5 extra days at 9 years.
