Clare College is looking for a Chef de Partie reporting to the Head Chef. This is a full‑time position working 37.5 hours per week on a two‑week shift system.

Responsibilities

  • You will assist in the preparation, cooking and presentation of all dishes to the highest standards for students, staff, College guests, Fellows and conference delegates.
  • You will work as part of a busy kitchen team and will be given opportunities to enter competitions and occasionally train with the England Team.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a busy kitchen environment and as part of a team.

Salary and Benefits

  • The annual salary is £30,562.43 per annum.
  • Paid overtime is available, especially during busy conference periods.
  • Benefits include a defined contribution pension scheme, medical cashback scheme, parking, and a non‑contractual bonus paid in November of each year.
