We are seeking a person to fill the post of Catering Assistant at Undy Primary. Duties will include preparation, serving, clearing away, washing up and cleaning processes.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare catering supplies and food for school use.
  • Serve food and refreshments to pupils and staff.
  • Clear and clean up after meals and refreshment sessions.
  • Wash up and maintain cleaning processes.

Qualifications

  • A CIEH Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification is required for this post, though training will be provided if not held.
  • Team player with effective communication skills at all staff levels.

Salary & Employment Conditions

Salary would be pro rata if not working full time hours or 52 weeks per year, i.e. 37 hours per week / 32.5 per week for School Teachers. Temporary end date: 28/02/2027.

Location: Undy Primary School, NP26 3LZ, United Kingdom. The service location may change in the future; relocation or disturbance expenses will not be paid if this happens. Term time only - weeks per year (if applicable): 39.

Appointment to this post is exempt from Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and is subject to an Enhanced DBS check with Children Barred List Check.
