UK Management College is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturer in Business Management and Digital Marketing to deliver high-quality teaching across business and digital marketing modules. The postholder will contribute to an engaging learning environment, support student achievement, and ensure curriculum content reflects current industry practice and academic standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver lectures, seminars, and workshops across Business Management and Digital Marketing modules.
  • Teach subjects including marketing strategy, digital marketing, SEO, social media, content marketing, data analytics, and business management principles.
  • Develop and update teaching materials to ensure academic quality and industry relevance.
  • Encourage student participation, critical thinking, and applied learning.
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback on student assessments.

Assessment and Student Support

  • Design, set, and mark assessments including coursework, projects, and examinations.
  • Supervise student projects and provide guidance on business and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Provide academic guidance and pastoral support as a personal tutor.
  • Monitor student progress and contribute to student retention and success.

Professional Practice and Industry Engagement

  • Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge in business and digital marketing through continuous professional development.
  • Engage with industry partners to enhance curriculum content and student employability.
  • Support the delivery of industry workshops and guest lectures where appropriate.

Quality Assurance and Administration

  • Contribute to curriculum development, review, and quality assurance processes.

Person Specification

  • Master's degree in Business Management, Digital Marketing, or a related discipline (PhD preferred).
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to achieve one.
  • Experience teaching in higher education and/or significant professional experience in business or digital marketing.
  • Experience with industry-standard tools such as Google Analytics, social media analytics platforms and/or CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of web development or web design principles, including website design, user experience (UX) and/or basic front-end development, as part of digital marketing practice.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, analytics, and online campaign management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Competence in using digital learning platforms and educational technologies.
