This role is for an analytics professional who can operate with a level of autonomy to identify, access, and interrogate data sources that others might overlook. You will be responsible for proactively discovering correlations, patterns, and strategic insights that inform executive decision making across our global operations. Rather than simply responding to data requests, you will anticipate business needs, design your own analytical frameworks, and drive data driven narratives that shape our market strategy.
- Proactively identify and evaluate new internal and external data sources that could provide competitive intelligence or operational insights.
- Design and implement data collection strategies from diverse sources including market databases, public datasets, partner systems, operational platforms, and industry sources.
- Build a comprehensive understanding of our data ecosystem and continuously expand analytical capabilities.
- Employ cutting edge analytical tools and techniques (Python, R, SQL, machine learning frameworks) to extract insights from structured and unstructured data.
- Develop custom analytical models and algorithms tailored to specific business questions.
- Transform complex analytical findings into compelling narratives that drive executive decision making.
- Identify correlations and causal relationships that reveal strategic opportunities in market positioning, customer behavior, or operational efficiency.
- Determine the most appropriate methodologies and tools for each analytical challenge.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using advanced tools (Tableau, Power BI, custom Python/R visualizations).
- Present findings with confidence, translating technical complexity into business impact.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Economics, or related quantitative field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related analytical roles.
- Demonstrated track record of independently driving analytical projects that influenced business outcomes.
- Advanced programming skills in Python or R, including libraries for data analysis (pandas, NumPy, scikit learn, tidyverse, etc.).
Soft Skills:
- Strong intuition for identifying which data sources and metrics will yield meaningful insights.
- Excellent written communication skills for creating executive ready reports and presentations.
- Confidence in presenting.
