We're looking for a driven and curious Business Development Representative to help us bring Pandektes to legal professionals across our UK market. You'll be the first point of contact for new customers and owning the full top-of-funnel: prospecting, outreach, and booking high-quality meetings. This is an early-stage role with real impact, built for someone who wants to grow fast in a category-defining legal tech company.

About Pandektes: Legal research hasn't changed much in decades. Lawyers still spend countless hours navigating fragmented sources, outdated systems, and complex databases just to find the information they need. At Pandektes, we're changing that. Our ambition is to build the leading global platform for legal research and the largest AI-powered legal database. By combining artificial intelligence, intelligent search, and continuously updated legal sources, we're redefining how legal knowledge is accessed, understood, analyzed, and applied. Pandektes has raised more than €4 million and most recently closed a €2.9 million seed round (Feb 2025) led by People Ventures, Interface Capital, and leading angels. Pandektes already serves more than 350 customers across Denmark, Germany and Switzerland. We're still early in the journey, and joining our team now means you'll have big impact on shaping how we scale.

What you'll do:

  • Owning outbound prospecting - researching, generating, and acquiring new leads
  • Book high-quality meetings with potential customers, from law firms to private and public institutions, by understanding their needs and clearly positioning Pandektes' value
  • Find creative ways to reach new prospects and continuously test what works
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoffs and consistent communication
  • Keep the pipeline accurate and up-to-date in HubSpot
  • Act as a feedback loop between customers, Customer Success, and Product - making sure real user insights drive platform improvements

What you’ll bring:

  • Some sales experience preferably in a B2B SaaS environment and/or a background in the legal space
  • Excellent communication skills and relationship building skills
  • Initiative and creativity when it comes to outreach and finding new ways to prospect
  • A proactive, self-starting mindset that also thrives in a collaborative team
  • Strong organizational skills for managing multiple conversations and priorities at once
  • The ability to present solutions that genuinely resonate with legal professionals - if you don't yet have legal knowledge, you'll be supported by our in-house lawyers and expected to learn quickly
  • Fluent in English

Nice to have:

  • Background in legal or a law degree
  • Interest in technology and enthusiasm for AI (basic knowledge of AI and LLMs is a plus)
