We are currently recruiting for an Outdoor Pool Attendant at Rhinefield House Hotel, part of Hand Picked Hotels. This is a seasonal role working from Mid April to End of September 2024. Known locally as the 'Jewel in the Forest', Rhinefield House is an award-winning luxury hotel steeped in natural beauty, hidden deep within the New Forest National Park. Rhinefield House is proud to be the only AA four red star hotel in the New Forest.

About the Role

Our outdoor pool attendants are responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience, putting the guest at the heart of everything you do through personalised and thoughtful service with care and attention to detail. You will be responsible for the opening and closing of the outdoor pool, ensuring that all areas of the pool, changing rooms and bar are clean and maintained to a very high standard, creating a magical first impression. You will play a key role in creating a home from home experience. Attention to detail is key - you will have an eye for perfection in making sure your guests are well looked after. During the shift you will be operating the Tiki bar, making and serving drinks to our guests, ensuring that our high standards of presentation are met. Most of all we want you to be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of our Hand Picked Team.

About you

To be considered for this role you will ideally have some previous customer service or waiting experience in a luxury hospitality setting, and you will need to be over the age of 18 to serve alcohol. You will be enthusiastic and willing to take on new responsibilities, adopting a flexible approach to ensuring all daily duties are completed. This is a varied role which includes cleaning of the changing rooms, pool testing and serving drinks to our guests. Having a high level of emotional intelligence enables you to anticipate our guests' needs and ensure they receive a Hand Picked experience. It is essential you can demonstrate how you would be able to deliver our guest experience standards at Hand Picked Hotels, including the ability to go above and beyond to ensure guests have a high quality, personalised, and magical experience that they remember, recommend and return to time and time again. Due to our rural location you will ideally need your own transport to reliably commute.
