About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Junior Surveyor to support survey field work at the Hinkley Point C (HPC) nuclear power station. The role involves assisting the Surveyor with site measurements, operating survey instruments, processing raw data, and preparing results for the Survey Team Manager. HPC is a major national project delivering clean energy and creating thousands of jobs across the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Take instruction from the Surveyor to support a range of classic survey operations.
  • Operate survey instruments on site, including Leica total stations, digital levels, scanners, and GPS (rover and static) to collect accurate data.
  • Perform basic quality checks to ensure that survey work is carried out in accordance with schedule and quality standards.
  • Write surveillance reports and technical documents to be approved by the Survey Team Manager.
  • Understand and apply relevant specifications and documents to daily activities.
