Our team is looking to recruit a friendly and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to assist with delivering quality meals to our residents in the care home. This is a perfect opportunity to gain some experience within the kitchen or perhaps the development of a new career in catering. You will be helping to ensure that our residents' dietary requirements are met.
Responsibilities- Support the Chef with the preparation and delivery of meals for residents.
- Prepare fresh ingredients for various meals.
- Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen area that adheres to Health and Safety regulations and the exemplary standards of the home.
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen environment.
- Clean all crockery, cutlery and food preparation equipment.
- Assist in preparation of meals for service.
- Prepare food and ingredients for service.
