Role Overview and Purpose

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Brand Experience & Activation Manager to support the development and delivery of engaging retail activation campaigns within the travel retail environment. This role sits at the centre of campaign delivery, partnering closely with the Creative Solutions Director and wider team to turn ideas into high-quality, real-world experiences. You will balance creative thinking with strong operational and project management skills, ensuring activations are delivered seamlessly across multiple locations. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys making things happen—bringing concepts to life through excellent coordination, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering standout brand experiences.

Brand Activation & Campaign Development

  • Develop and execute innovative brand activation campaigns tailored to travel retail & domestic retail environments.
  • Create engaging concepts that capture passenger attention and enhance the overall customer journey.
  • Align campaigns with key seasonal moments and commercial opportunities (e.g. summer travel, major sporting events, new flight launches).

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Development & Support

  • Support the ideation and development of engaging retail activation concepts.
  • Translate campaign ideas into clear, actionable plans.
  • Write and manage creative briefs for internal design teams.
  • Align activations with key commercial and seasonal opportunities.

Campaign Delivery & Project Management

  • Coordinate end-to-end delivery of retail activation campaigns.
  • Manage timelines, schedules, and internal workflows.
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Support multi-site rollouts across travel retail environments.

Experiential & Activation Execution

  • Support the planning and delivery of live activations, including sampling, pop-ups, and in-store experiences.
  • Source and coordinate experiential elements such as performers, artists, and brand ambassadors.
  • Assist with staffing coordination and on-site execution where required.

Supplier & Production Coordination

  • Liaise with production suppliers and external partners.
  • Support the delivery of production briefs and ensure accurate execution.
  • Coordinate materials, logistics, and installation requirements.

Client & Stakeholder Support

  • Support day-to-day communication with clients and retail partners.
  • Help ensure campaigns meet client expectations and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.

Financial & Administrative Support

  • Assist with budget tracking and cost management.
  • Support supplier onboarding and system setup (e.g., talent, vendors).

Reporting & Evaluation

  • Support the creation of post-campaign reports and performance summaries.
  • Assist in gathering insights and data to measure campaign success.

Key Skills and Experience

  • 2-4 years' experience in brand activation, experiential marketing, or retail marketing.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Experience supporting multi-site campaigns or live activations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within travel retail or airport environments.
  • Exposure to live events, staffing, or experiential activations.
  • Familiarity with production processes and supplier management.
