The Role
We are recruiting a Chef de Partie to join a busy and growing kitchen team in a high quality hospitality environment. This role offers excellent variety, working across restaurant service, events and banqueting including weddings and private functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present high quality dishes to consistent standards
- Work across all kitchen sections to support service delivery
- Assist with menu development and seasonal dishes
- Support event and function catering
- Maintain food hygiene, safety and COSHH standards
- Manage stock control, ordering and storage
- Support training of junior staff
- Work closely with senior chefs
Skills & Experience:
- Previous Chef de Partie experience in a busy kitchen
- Passion for food and high standards
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Creative approach to food
Qualifications:
- Food Hygiene Level 2 minimum
- NVQ Level 2 in Cookery desirable
Shift Patterns:
- Early: 06:45 - 15:00
- Late: 12:00 - 21:00 (later finishes during functions)
