As a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant at Westbourne Tower Care Home, you will make a positive impact on residents' lives every day, using your compassion and dedication to improve well being.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate residents' physical, cognitive and social well being.
- Maintain a safe living and working environment, contributing to a positive and professional image of the home.
- Report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the Wellbeing and Activity Coordinator, Home Manager and care staff.
- Assist with ordering and preparing supplies for upcoming activities.
- Establish links with the local community (schools, spiritual groups, museums, libraries) to promote access to the wider community and intergenerational activity.
About You
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive attitude toward older people and commitment to providing stimulating, quality activities and social events.
- Experience working with older people in a residential nursing dementia setting.
- Live the organisation's values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful and accountable.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the role interaction plays in the general well being of people.

- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
