Salary
- PIP Assessor β Β£40,000 + 5 % salary bonus when training is passed (up to 10 % performance bonus per year)
- WCA Assessor β Β£42,000 + 5 % salary bonus when training is passed (up to 10 % performance bonus per year)
- Candidates are usually assigned based on local availability and may perform either PIP or WCA work.
Working Hours
- Full time (WCA/PIP) β Monday to Friday, 9 am β 5 pm
- Part time (WCA only) β 0.6 FTE (3 days) or 0.8 FTE (4 days); must work Friday; remaining days chosen

What Youβll Do
- Conduct structured assessments (telephone and face to face)
- Review medical evidence and daily living impact
- Produce detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
- Make objective recommendations based on evidence
- Focus on assessment; no prescribing, no treatment plans, no shift pressures.
Training
- 12 week paid training covering assessment techniques, DWP guidelines, report writing. You will be fully supported before working independently.

Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year post registration experience in an adult setting
- At least 1 year of active registration
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- Confident IT and typing skills
- Sponsorship is not available
