Cutting Edge Music Tech - On-Demand Vinyl Records
We are seeking a motivated Junior Manufacturing Operator to join our team and play a vital role in our production process. In this role, you will be an integral part of the team, learning to operate various machinery and equipment used in the vinyl record production process. Your focus on quality, problem-solving skills, and dedication will help us maintain the highest production standards.
As part of this role, you'll work on a rotating shift basis, which provides exposure to different aspects of our production processes and supports work-life balance for many team members. Our shift schedule includes:
- Early Shift: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm (Monday to Friday)
- Day Shift: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (Monday to Friday)
- Late Shift: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm (Monday to Friday)
- Night Shift: 9:00 pm - 6:00 am (Monday to Thursday, 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off)
We aim to provide reasonable notice of shift allocations and do our best to accommodate preferences where possible.
Responsibilities- Hands-On Training: Learn to operate and maintain a variety of equipment and machinery used in our production process.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor the production process, inspect materials and products for quality, and make precise adjustments to ensure top-notch results.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues, minimising downtime and ensuring efficient production.
- Process Management: Follow established manufacturing processes and maintain accurate records of production jobs, materials used, and any issues encountered.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our production team to prioritise and fulfil production orders promptly, contributing to the timely delivery of products.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the organisation and management of supplies and materials to keep the production line running smoothly.
- Career Development: Earn relevant qualifications and certifications as you grow in your role, with opportunities for further skill development and career advancement.
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above.
