Responsibilities
- Execute store operations through your team on scheduled shifts, covering opening, closing and weekends. You will also manage coverage on your days off.
- Analyze data and leverage observations in store to inform decision making that improves both customer experience and overall store performance.
- Work with store leaders to use forecasting and scheduling tools to manage labour within the required budgets, and recruit world‑class, diverse talent that meets the store’s needs.
- Cascade and roll out new initiatives to enable operational excellence and drive business results.
- Support the growth of your partners through performance and development, coaching and developing your team, and building positive relationships to understand partner challenges, needs and aspirations.
- Set challenging and realistic goals to drive engagement and improve partner performance.
- Participate in an introductory training programme led by in‑store trainers and coaches, designed to immerse you in the Starbucks culture and set you up for success.
- Given the nature of our stores, your working hours could include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
Qualifications
- Previous experience leading a team in a dynamic retail or hospitality environment.
- Ability to champion Starbucks’ mission and values to create the Starbucks experience for customers and partners.
- Understanding of the local market, including competitors, and ability to identify opportunities to drive store profitability.
- Ambassador for partner networks, ensuring partners feel they belong.
