The Methodist Circuit Birmingham (West) & Oldbury are looking to employ a full-time Local Lay Pastor. We are looking for a Local Lay Pastor to care for, enable, lead and represent relevant churches, with support of Presbyters and other lay officers in enabling the Church's Mission of delivering the good news of Christ.
This is a full-time position (37hrs a week), ideally starting September 2026 (depending on successful candidates' notice period).
Rate of Pay: £17.36 per hour
A specific faith is an essential requirement for this role and in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 it is an occupational requirement that the successful applicant is a practising Christian and a member of The Methodist Church. A satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required plus references.
